One of the main specificities of the paediatric population is that this is a heterogeneous population. Potential paediatric patients are neonates, newborns, infants and toddlers, and adolescents. Therefore, paediatrics formulations must allow administration of an accurate and defined dose to patients of widely varying weight and age.
