Nemera’s Innovation Center reaches 100 employees


Nemera’s celebrated an important milestone: its Innovation Center has just hired its 100th employee.

The Innovation Center, a multi-discipline drug delivery device development expertise center, was created in 2008. Early on, it included a few engineers, who worked on product development. Over the last 10 years, it has grown consistently to reach 100 employees and more than 250 m2 of laboratory space.
“Considering that our Innovation Center started with just 12 people, 10 years ago, hiring our 100th team member is a great achievement for us.” says Innovation Director, Dimitri Grasswill. “We’ve grown a loyal client base and expanded our services, in order to answer to our customers’ needs for device development. The patients’ voice is the key driver of Nemera’s product development. This growth is a result of taking care of customers, with a strong patient-focused commitment, a high level of creativity and passion every day in what we do. ”

Along with the many fields of technological expertise, creative design and patient’s usability assessment are central to product development. The Innovation Center carries real world evaluations, through impartial volunteers and collects user feedbacks.

Proprietary devices and contract development
The same quality-oriented process is applied to the development of proprietary devices, to customized solutions under contract with laboratories. The development quality team guarantees full compliance not only of the final device but of all the development chain.
