The Sindusfarma Quality Award is the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry’s highest honor. According to Daniel Aymard, CEO Latam- ACG Films & Foils, “We at ACG are very honoured to receive this award from SindusPharma as it represents the consolidation of our hard work. With increasing manufacturing capacity both on a regional and global basis, ACG is absolutely committed to its goal of offering comprehensive R+D, integrated manufacturing and production solutions to businesses across the globe.”

ACG Films & Foils operations in Brazil expanded in 2017 with the acquisition of Nova Nordeplast offering the most diverse solutions in pharmaceutical packaging.

The company with headquarters in Mumbai, India, has a plant in Cotia (SP) to produce packaging to meet the demand throughout Latin America. The facility has proprietary technology to produce input not only for the Brazilian market but also for all Latin America. ACG’s packaging solutions diversified portfolio includes a range of aluminium-based foils, films for special packaging, high barrier, and polymer films. All the equipment and products comply with the US FDA, European Pharmacopoeia, and CFDA rules.

The company also recently launched its new capsules manufacturing plant in Pouso Alegre-Minas Gerais. With approximately R$(Brazilian Real) 350 million invested, this factory spans an area of 14,000 m² and will generate around 500 new jobs locally. Both ACG Films and Foils and the new ACG Capsule plant will offer unique and differentiated solutions with faster response times to customers in the region.
