Geneva’s position as a leading European life science hub makes it the ideal choice for Connect in Pharma
/ The Canton of Geneva has announced its official support for Connect in Pharma 2023, a Geneva-based event bringing together European leaders in pharmaceuticals and healthcare to discuss the future of the global pharma and biopharma sector. Connect in Pharma’s commitment to Geneva is recognition of the canton’s fast-growing position as a regional hub for life science and pharmaceutical innovation.
Taking place on 14th–15th June in the Palexpo Congress & Exhibition Centre, Connect in Pharma 2023 will bring together 50+ expert speakers, 90+ pharmaceutical suppliers, and 100s of delegates from Switzerland, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, UK, US, and other hotspots for science innovation. Connect in Pharma is already taking a lead in supporting regional healthcare initiatives, announcing a recent partnership with the Global Health Security (GHS) Fund, a Geneva-based non-profit organisation driving local innovation and global programming to address threats to health security worldwide.
At the heart of major European pharmaceutical and biotech markets in France, Germany, Italy and Switzerland, Geneva provides the ideal meeting place to bring together leading pharmaceutical companies, biotechs and suppliers. “Before deciding to launch the event in 2022, our team at Easyfairs conducted thorough market research to map out our target audience, and it quickly became clear that Connect in Pharma would have to be in Geneva, given its geographical proximity to so many important players in the sector,” said Renan Joel, Divisional Director at Connect in Pharma. “We are delighted to receive the support of the Canton of Geneva, giving the event regional endorsement that will facilitate its growth in future years.”
