On its Way: New ISO Standard on Interoperability of Anti-Counterfeit Systems, Based on Unique Identifiers

Identification systems based on unique identifiers are no longer restricted to individuals’ ID cards, car plates or telephone numbers. For many years now, object identification has been established in the world of things, using unique identifiers on sales items and their packaging, as well as other sales and transport units.
