Powder Systems Ltd (PSL) PRESENTS Packing Automation Ltd. WITH E3 BUSINESS AWARD

On Thursday 13th July, Amanda Gowans, Managing Director of PSL appeared before an audience of over 500 North West business delegates as a judge and key sponsor of the 2017 E3 Business Awards. The event took place at the Macron Stadium in Bolton.
PSL both judged and sponsored the Manufacturing Business of the Year award, which attracted nominations from across the North West. The winner was Knutsford-based Packing Automation Ltd.
The other shortlisted nominees were:

  • Riggs Autopack Ltd.
  • Pendle Engineering Limited
Acknowledging the high standard of the entries, Amanda Gowans said: “Judging and sponsoring the Manufacturing Business of the Year award for the second year running was an honour for us as it represents excellence in our field of manufacturing in the North West. The standard of those shortlisted across the award categories was extremely high this year. PSL is an international designer and manufacturer of filtration, drying and high containment solutions for the pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, chemical and laboratory industries. Based in Liverpool, PSL is a previous winner of E3 awards for Manufacturing Business of the Year (2014) and International Business of the Year (2015).
The awards evening attracted delegates from all parts of the region, from Cumbria to Cheshire, Merseyside to Manchester. Visitors also came representing a broad range of industry sectors, so it provided an excellent opportunity to raise Packing Automation’s profile amongst some of the North West’s most successful organisations.
Speaking on behalf of 1 Events Media, the organiser of the awards, Managing Director Mubarak Chati said: “I’m very grateful to PSL and all our other sponsors for their support and involvement. Each year, the E3 Business Awards get bigger, better known and more fiercely contested, and it’s all thanks to the backing of organisations like PSL.”
The E3 Awards were devised to recognise Enterprise, Education and Employment – the three Es.
