‘Safety is Springless with a UniSafe™’ – Owen Mumford announces new product branding for UniSafe™

Owen Mumford, global industry leaders in medical device design and manufacturing, will unveil and showcase its new branding of UniSafea springless, passive safety device, between 7th-8th November at PDA: Universe of pre-filled syringes and injection devices 2017, Vienna, Austria.
UniSafe is designed without a spring to eliminate the possible risks and challenges of a traditional sprung device. It is compatible with existing, pre-fillable syringes whilst -part count enables ease of assembly.
The new identity of UniSafeis articulated through the tagline ‘Safety is Springless’, which demonstrates the implicit benefits of the product and the explicit detail it delivers; safety and increased visibility for the end-user, whilst maintaining its ability to deliver an accurate and reliable dosage. Product imagery will also be adapted to communicate the modern and advanced products that Owen Mumford creates.
Commenting on the re-brand, Oliva Houselander, Business Development Manager at Owen Mumford, said “It is important that the benefits of UniSafe™ are clearly communicated to our customers. We feel it’s important to let people know what we stand for and our new tagline, ‘Safety is Springless’, demonstrates our commitment to improving treatment adherence as the design allows the user to see that the drug has been administered, improving end-user confidence in the use of our devices.”
Owen Mumford will also announce its new brand look and feel for the Device Solutions (Original Equipment Manufacturing) division, which will align with the core messaging communicated in Unisafe – the end-user is at the heart of all device designs.
Owen Mumford will be displaying UniSafe™ and the renewed branding at PDA booth x86, where product demonstrations and a product assembly challenge to test out the ease of assembling the product will be made available.
