The TAdvanced High Performance Smart Lid (HPSL) with integrated clutch mechanism serves for two essential functions: It prevents the formation of condensed water at the reaction tube portion located above the block surface level and it ensures reliable contact between samples and thermal block by applying constant pressure. The combination of the heated lid shape and the reliable contact pressure ensures even temperature distribution between samples thus significantly improves the temperature uniformity.

By gentle pressure on the locking system, the heated lid swings open and arrests in its end position. By this mechanism the heated lid cannot fall down and it does not disturb the user while inserting tubes or plates.

By intelligent air stream design in combination with latest electronics the TAdvanced produces a very low noise level of only 45 dB (Whisper Quiet).
