U.S. FDA DEPUTY DIRECTOR LAWRENCE X. YU, PHD, TO PRESENT AT INTERPHEX 2018

International Pharmaceutical Expo (INTERPHEX), the premier event dedicated to pharmaceutical and biotechnology innovation, technology and knowledge from development through commercialization, and the Parenteral Drug Association (PDA), the leading industry provider of science, technology and regulatory information, are pleased to confirm the participation of Lawrence X. Yu, PhD, as part of the INTERPHEX Technical Conference which can be attended by all INTERPHEX attendees and exhibitors at no additional cost. Dr. Yu brings insight into the conference through his expertise with emerging technologies in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. INTERPHEX takes place April 17-19, 2018 at the Javits Center, New York, NY.

Dr. Yu is currently the Deputy Director of the Office of Pharmaceutical Quality (OPQ) in the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research (CDER) at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He directs over 1,300 staff involved in new, generic, and biotechnology drug product quality assessment and inspection functions, as well as the laboratories supporting pharmaceutical quality. He is also adjunct Professor of Pharmaceutical Engineering at the University of Michigan.
